6Stacey Small Rupp's paintings are an expression of her own interpretation of the natural beauty of Door County. Subjects that interest and stir Rupps's emotions include wildflowers, shorelines, hiking trails and old barns. Watercolors can be the most spontaneous and overwhelming medium to work with to capture moments and moods that nature can inspire. Subtle, tranquil and charming are all words that have been used to describe her paintings.
