Quote from artist: "This is a plein air from Scottsdale, AZ. We live out there a couple of months in the winter and this is a great hiking location called Brown Mountain. I was mesmerized by the Saguaro cacti. If they have an arm it means they are over 75 years old. Each one is highly individual and different. I feel like it was doing portraits of highly unique and interesting people. Luckily, they held still for my painting session.... unlike people :)".
