Perkins Cove

Teresa Mowery's current body of work reflects her fascination with both science and art. She is inspired by Chemistry, the fractal geometry of nature and the play of the elements on weathering objects. Mowery loves the interplay of color and texture with metals and her patina process is always evolving.

Each copper wall piece is designed for interiors and the patinas are created through the use of salts and acids. The copper is treated with multiple layers of sealant which locks in the color and contains UV protection.
