Ribbons

Sue Pruss totally looses all sense of time when immersed in her glass studio. She’ll look at a beautiful new sheet of glass and begin to imagine. Sometimes the texture or pattern ‘tells’ her what to create. Other times, it’s the blending of colors. But the most rewarding aspect of all, is the organic approach she takes in her creations. This piece contains hundreds of small strips of glass that are hand cut by the artist and then placed to create a look of transparent ribbons of glass.
